As you know cooking is one of my passions.  Someone once asked me how can I cook the way I do and be so healthy? The key while cooking is to taste your food for accuracy.  However, the key to staying healthy is MODERATION. Also use healthy substitutes or look around. For instance, I cook a lot with real Italian Coarse Sea Salt from Sicily. It is one of the best Sea Salts I have ever used. I bought it at my local dollar store for $1, that’s right $1. You can usually find ground garlic, cinnamon, mixed seasonings, and other really great seasonings there. Usually from smaller manufacturers or local.

My recipe that I used is pretty basic and they tastes amazing.

So basically, I take a mayonnaise jar fill it 1/2 way with distilled white vinegar. Add 3-5 garlic cloves. Add red pepper flakes (optional). You can add flakes or habanero or ghost pepper whole, for a super kick of heat (optional). Add coarse sea salt. Add Tumeric spice. Add sliced Jalapeños (keep seeds in for more heat – more seeds=more heat). Add lid. Give good shake. Refrigerate. You will find it usually settles to the bottom. So make sure to give it a random shake and stick it back in the fridge.

This is what happens in 24 hours. I served them with breakfast. The guys loved them.

It’s a great way to recycle those old mayonnaise jars. It is to be noted that the plastic jars will stain. Also, after handling,  WASH YOUR HANDS, as to not burn or heat other body parts. They have a great refrigerator shelf life. But, we go through about 1 jar a week or more.

Tips: I used 6 large Jalapeños. You can also grow them practically anywhere. Very resilient and easy to grow, indoors or out.

The Distilled White Vinegar you can also get at the $1 Store.  Same with fresh garlic, jalapeños, and red pepper flakes usually.

These tastes amazing.
