I can see a lot of this happening. Being in Texas currently, I see a huge shift. Houston for instance is not just becoming known for medical, but also technology, not just in Oil and Gas, but in innovation as well. Dallas is becoming more metropolitan.

Kansas, Wyoming, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Idaho are seeing a surge as well.

California is starting to rebound, but they have a ways to go. Florida is still in the hole and trying to climb out. Michigan is hit and miss by town. New York is steadily climbing, region by region.

The key is your timing and what your needs and wants are.
