I decided to mix it up a bit and try something different. I made Farfalle pasta (bow tie) and topped it with cheese tortellini with a carbonara sauce and capers, with Asiago cheese and Parmesan cheese. It was a huge hit.
I made it 2 nights in a row at a request. I used Campanelle pasta and cheese tortellini. So the second night I added peas and added sundried tomatoes marinated in olive oil. Another huge hit 😉 The peas have a consistency of tortellini, so with the sauce, they tastes like it too. Great way to sneak in veggies 😉
